We took the boys down to Parliament Hill this morning for Canada Day. The fireworks seemed to be a bit too much to hope for, but we figured they would do alright if it was a "before lunch" kind of an outing. Little did we know that we would be surrounded by 100 000 of our closest friends, one of whom was the Queen! It was fun, if perhaps a bit disorganised and chaotic, and the boys behaved beautifully. We even got to have lunch at The Lone Star! Overall, a good day.
