After several years "off-grid", we have finally moved back into town (ish) and have high speed internet again! I cannot explain how happy this makes me... I feel completely out of the loop. Apparently there is a whole new world out there, something about you-tube... not sure how that works yet, but I will find out! So we're going to play a bit of catch-up here. Jack is now 16 months old, running all over the place, talking non-stop, and generally making a big mess everywhere he goes. He has survived the move quite well and is enjoying his new day care while Mom and Dad go to work. Mom is very much looking forward to summer holidays! Enjoy the pictures!

Christmas Fun!

We had a great holiday! Ben's brother and his wife and daughter came down and spent Christmas with us, and then we all went to Ayer's Cliff for a week. It was fun to have both babies together for their first Christmas.

Pre-Christmas Holiday in Missassauga

First things first, I know. I am a horrible blogger. The thing is, we only have dial-up internet at our house, and it takes FOREVER to upload pictures. Having said that, I sincerely hope that this makes up for all of the months you have missed!

We had a great Christmas. We started off the festivities with a trip to Missassauga to visit with Uncle Grant, Aunt Kaye, Uncle Glenn, Aunt Linda, Aunt Jill, and Grandma. We had a wonderful time and Jack really enjoyed himself!

Thanksgiving!

It is a beautiful day today. And I wasn't sure it was going to be- yesterday was blah, to say the least. Thunderstorms in October. Whodathunkit.

We're heading over to my parents place in a bit to do the turkey thing, but we couldn't resist getting a few pictures while the sun was shining. And by 'we', I of course mean 'Ben'.

Our week at the cottage

We spent a fantastic week at the cottage with our good friends Robyn, Jon and their 5 month old Nate. We all really like camping, but it seemed a bit too difficult this year with the two little ones. So a cottage was a great compromise. We had all of our baby gear (which took over the cottage completely) and the comforts of home, with the lake right outside our window. It was a 'first annual' kind of experience.
