March has been a rough month so far... I had a bad fall at work and hurt my knee pretty badly and am on crutches, Rory has been and continues to be quite sick, Ben is currently stuck in Florida for work for an indefinite amount of time, and two squirrels have taken up residence in our attic.
On the plus side, Jack has decided that my crutches could come in useful.
Here is a snippet of our conversation today:
Jack: "Mommy, what would we do if the villains came to our house?"
Jen: "I suppose we would call the police."
Jack: Silent pause..... followed by muttering under his breath: "You call the police. I will hit them with your crutches."
So between the villains and the occasional dragon, we are well protected while Ben is away.
